Dupion silk is a world-renowned brand known for its quality and unique appearance. The silk itself contains natural imperfections (slubs) which are the hallmark of this natural fibre. Some of the silks that are used here are shot fabrics which means they shimmer with two colours as you move. These silk bow ties come in both self-tie and pre-tied styles and are available in a variety of colours from classic black, to red, silver, navy blue and gold.
The ‘Jacquard Silk Bow Tie Collection’ is an extremely special and hand-picked selection of self-tie bow ties which I have commissioned directly from silk weaving and tailoring experts. Although these bow ties are not made by me, they are handmade by crafts people in England and are of the finest quality.
With the desire to broaden the range of bow ties that I offer, I decided to stock a limited-edition collection of sumptuous and unique Jacquard silk bow ties that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else in the world.
The beautiful, rich, Jacquard silk is woven and printed at a mill in England which boasts a combined experience of over 100 years in the silk industry. The bow ties are then handmade in London by experts who carefully cut, line and sew the bow ties.
The designs on offer range from classic stripes and polka dots to more unique and unusual prints. Whatever you choose, you’ll be acquiring a very special accessory, made from the best quality silks England has to offer.
